Chicken Dumplings
Chicken Pelmeni
All chicken, seasoned simply, folded small. Mild enough for the kids, good enough that the adults finish the pot.
Chicken pelmeni are the gentle ones, a single mild filling inside the same thin wrap as the rest of the line. This is the pot that goes on for snow days and sick days, and the bag that leaves for college with a freshman and one phone call of instructions. Drop them into simmering chicken broth for an easy dumpling soup, or keep it simple with butter, forks optional.

How we cook them at home
- Bring a large pot of well-salted water to a rolling boil.
- Add the frozen dumplings straight from the bag and give them one good stir so nothing sticks.
- When the water comes back to a boil, cook five to eight minutes, until they float and the dough turns tender.
- Drain, add butter or a spoonful of sour cream, and call everyone to the table.
