Pelmeni: the Bite-Size Classic
Pelmeni are small dumplings in the old style: thin dough sealed around seasoned meat, straight from freezer to boiling water with no thawing required. Give them five to eight minutes and a spoonful of sour cream, and dinner handles itself.

Bring a large pot of well-salted water to a rolling boil, add the dumplings straight from the bag and give them one stir. Once the water returns to the boil, cook five to eight minutes, until they float and the dough turns tender.
